Peak District - Kinder Scout - Behind the Scenes

I set off from home this morning and headed through the rush hour traffic straight to Edale. It has only been a week since my last walk in the Peak District but I find the more I go.. The more I need to go. I feel thoroughly gripped by the need to explore every corner of the Peak District at the minute.

I parked the car in Edale and headed up to the Start/End of the Pennine Way, I then headed straight up the slope to Grindslow Knoll. It was here where I had arranged to meet up with the Terrybnd. For those of you who haven't heard of him.. Terry is an outdoor Videographer & Moviemaker who like myself has a huge passion for the Peak District. I would highly recommend that you head on over to his website - terrybnd.blogspot.com, his YouTube Channel - YouTube.com/Terrybnd or http://www.peakdistricttv.co.uk/

Terry had been wandering & wild camping in the Kinder area for the last 5 or so days working on his latest project. I tagged along with him while he took a few more shots and I got a nice behind the scenes glimpse as it were. We walked along to Crowden Brook and then up to Crowden Head.. Then back to the edge and along towards Pym Chair. After a detour to Edale Cross we headed back down to Edale via Jacob's Ladder.

This is the video that Terry was filming. I'm sure you will agree that it is a fantastic piece of work. It show Kinder Scout in a fantastic light and Terry has captured some amazing views and features in superb HD quality. View his blog post about the video here http://terrybnd.blogspot.com/2011/10/kinder-scout-peak-district-videos.html. Well Done Terry. Keep up the good work!
